Vaughn began his career in the early 1980’s broking in the UK market and then going on to establish a regional broking business. Since 1998 he has been involved in the reinsurance business, specialising in Eastern Europe and countries of the former Soviet Union as well as in the Middle East.
This has involved overseas postings as a Technical Manager in Central Asia and the Caucasus, consultancy in respect of insurance legislation in Kazakhstan and general insurance and reinsurance broking activities. Since 2007 he has been a Divisional Director with European Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers, specialising in reinsurance placements from Central and Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union regions.

Stephen began his Career in 1974 working for Arbuthnot Insurance services (now part of AON) on Non- Marine Claims.
He has since moved to various Brokers including Sedgwick, JH Minet, CooperGay and UIB and has specialised in the Energy Business for the past 30 years.
Stephen joined EIRB in 2017 as a Senior Technician/Broker where he is utilising his experience and knowledge garnered over 40 years in the insurance industry.
